McAuley House is a Catholic independent day school situated in the leafy suburb of Parktown West, Johannesburg. Founded in 1907 by the Sisters of Mercy, we are proud of our rich heritage of academic excellence and character formation.

Our motto, Vincit Veritas –Truth Conquers, expresses our commitment to integrity, courage, and the pursuit of truth in every aspect of school life. Rooted in the Mercy tradition, we nurture learners who strive for excellence while remaining compassionate and socially responsible.

McAuley House offers co-educational classes from Grade R to Grade 7, and a dedicated Girls’ High School from Grade 8 to Grade 12. Grounded in a strong Catholic ethos, our educational programmes are designed to cultivate confident, capable young leaders and to inspire a lifelong love of learning.
